they've already sold 55k so it will be more than that. Id be very surprised if we get much past 65-70k.

We should go all out to get 90k

Any idea how close the KC is to selling out? Mate doesn't know whether he will be able to go but don't fancy leaving it till Sunday.

I would suggest he buys now, there are only single seats left, and last weeks England game on BBC caused a surge in tickets and waiting times on the website.

As for Wembley, I think we can sell 90k if England, NZ & Australia all hit form over the next 3 games. If fans of all 3 are confident of winning the world cup it'll sell.

Also with the KC & Final all but sold out, the DW and Wembley are now the only chances to see England live if you haven't got tickets which should push tickets sales up

If the momentum in the group games keeps up then I don't see why we cannot get fairly close. The attendances to date have been very, very surprising! If Londoners jump on the bandwagon then that will really help. And even if we "only" hit 70k then that would be far better than any pre-tournament predictions.

Originally, I was unable to go to the Final due to surgery a couple of days before but the date of my op has now been put back to January. Tried to get 4 tickets for the Final from the RFL but a total no go.

Got a response following my Twitter pleas that I should go directly through Old Trafford as they had an allocation to sell for themselves. After having to (begrudgingly, I may add) becoming a member of MUFC, I struck gold! Actually managed to get 4 seats together.

If anyone is struggling for Final tickets, may I suggest this avenue - and good luck.

Indeed, and even 70k would looked better than a challenge cup final as the Club Wembley will be full, and it'd only be the top tier facing away from the camera's with gaps.

If we can get 7k in Bristol, anything is possible.
Wembley will be massive - you can rely on southerners to come out in huge numbers. Tbh, the one crowd I think that will stick out as being rubbish is Salford's, though I would be pleased to be proven wrong. Haven't seen anything to suggest that tickets are going well for that one.
Limerick may be rubbish, but then again it was only ever a nice to have, toe in the water effort. Leaves more room for those of us going to spread out.

if the fans don't turn out at Salford, it shouldn't host another England or CC Semi Final game for a few years. Even Doncaster got more than Salford for its world cup warm-up game. For a brand new stadium, slap bang in the middle of the M62 the crowds just aren't good enough

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: World Cup Ticket Sales : Fri Nov 01, 2013 6:42 pm
A sell out at Wembley is not impossible. It's still 4 weeks away.

But it's a heck of a lot of seats to sell. I would not go off the website to indicate anything given that some unavailable areas can be sold and others not.

I certainly don't think we should be disappointed if it does not sell out.

How many were at the double header in 2011? 40-45k it looks like it will be a decent increase on this, which is steady sign of progress.
