I think flatcappers and flat-earthers are being confused here.......it's just easier to say pit village, whippet owning or pigeon fanciers.....apparently Northern Monkeys isn't acceptable in some part of Yorkshire......

Its not deflecting from Catalans or a different issue. The fact is every Super League club has “ANZACS”
To suggest Catalans shouldn’t, and that they only sign French players because they are a French club is delusional.

No other club they’re competing with plays without overseas players, despite existing for 100+ years before Catalans came along.

Isn’t that the point though? That Catalans often get singled out for criticism re overseas players yet only have comparable amounts of overseas to plenty of historic clubs.

Where I do criticise Catalans is the number of good French players they’ve let go.
Fages, Escare etc along with Thomas Bosc who they sidelined. They had the core of a good French spine to a team there but for some reason sacked it off.

Are Toronto stretching the SC & Quota too far ?
If so & they get promoted what happens ?
A) slap on the wrist
B) slap on the wrist & small points deduction aka Wiggin & Fielden gate ?
C) Automatic demotion back to Championship *too embarrassing for RFL*

Looking at the current rosta + the inbound Lusick, the Quota looks to be creative at least.

Toronto stretches nothing in the pursuit of unilateral advantage. They are an expansion team on a new continent who are being given latitude for the good of the game.

BTW the name of the Australian import mentioned is Darcy Lussick, and he is a prop forward. His brother Joseph Lussick is a hooker for Manly.
