£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.  |

The Thugpack players arn't daft a team of championship players that would all be off loaded back to Batley etc if they went up or big bucks next year and the high life in Toronto it was a tough choice.  Any club that employs Rowley and that dinosaur Noble will never go anywhere. Well done London delighted for you ...

Such a terrible result for Northen Hemisphere RL Toronto management is to blame though Rowley is a terrible coach and the discipline by Toronto was ridiculous London brings zero to SL The same as Leigh, HKR and all those backwater teams Toronto has more fans than those clubs combined

Would be nice to see neutrals back London like this when they’re back in SL next year. Doubt it though and it probably won’t be long before they’re getting the criticisms they were getting in the previous stint in SL by supporters of other clubs.
