You can't say that on a forum. Where is the swear filter ? I think helpful is more offensive than sh*it. Surely ?

Truth must bypass the swear filter.

Key word bolded here. MONEY...look at it this way, you're 25 yr old, you're one of world rugby leagues biggest names, you're playing for a team at the top of their game who have just won a GF.....you're an automatic choice for your state and your country....your climate and surroundings are excellent....you're a national icon and a generally well respected sportsman.....and all this is a 10 minute drive from where you live...

what could make you give it all up and move half way round the world to a country where RL isnt the national sport, where the attendances are on the whole lower, where you wont be a national icon, apart from in certain post codes in warrington, you wont be an automatic choice for your state and country, where your friends, family and natural surroundings are thousands of miles away...in fact, what could make you give everything up apart from breathing in and out?

ahhh yes....because you're absolutely desperate to have a crack at the Superleague....

the up shot of it all is that money talks, whatever language you speak, and for the money that he's on, he ISNT doing the business at the moment.

'experts' say that you'll see the best of matt king when the grounds harden up and the climate is a better, but imo, if you're that good, you should be able to play in any conditions!

I sort of agree, but when it comes down to it, not many centres have really stood out this year, as the conditions just haven't suited flowing rugby. King will shine, he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as people have mad eout, he just hasn't been the world beater people wer hoping.
King, and Wire will come good over time, and when it clicks, he, and they will play some awesome rugby, which we have already seen glimpses of.

People have the wrong centre if they expect Matt king to create lots for himself and set his winger up for walk-ins every 5 minutes. He's a strong runner and can hit the line well, but he needs good ball to do that.

If he's struggling then whilst he should take responsibility for his own form, if he's getting the ball in cr*p positions and looking clueless as a result he's simply being used wrongly. Watch vids of him for the Storm, Aus or NSW and you'll see how good he is when used properly.

I'd say Senior would have exactly the same issues if not given good ball as he's similar in some regards.

If you wanted a centre to create gaps for himself and cause the opposition to panic every time he gets the ball then Lyon, Gasnier and possibly Hodges would be the pick.

i've said previously on the wire board, its all part of a culture change at warrington, we've spent three years going to fa'afili and gleeson, now we've got a proper left centre, and a proper second half back in monas, its gonna take some time for them to get used to one another and for the whole team to change, it hasn't helped that monas and king have missed games and micks been playing injured when he should be sat down but we're down to the bare bones at halfback.

At the moment we ain't using him well and or right, but some of the drop balls yesterday were really annoying. Yes king was crap but it had nowt to do with lee marsh.

Take a look at Melbournes defence down that side without him! Could cost them another title.

It's the Cullen factor, plain and simple.. He's proved time and again how he can take some of the best players the game has to offer and coach all the talent out of them
