I'm not a naturally negative person so I don't see things the way you do, but i do find your comments interesting. I don't think you should be banned (unless you break the rules same as anyone else)
The thing is though, in point 4, if you don't think your comments are going to make any difference.......apart from winding people up on here, why make them? The only conclussion is you are doing it to, dare I say it, wind people up.
I think your comparisons to Rugby Union are more valid than that. Although I'm 100% League, I have played Union for a lot of years and been part of the club set up. There is no doubt Union management and marketing (and money) is significantly better than League, however, everything in Union is not rosey and there are plenty of things they are trying to learn from us. (the difference is they do learn)
The problem is, when you only state the negative, you come across as pro Union and Anti League, which unfortunately has no real place on here.
It seems completely obvious to me that *at the very 'worst'* he's anti- *the administrators* of League which is a completely different thing altogether than being anti-League. I find it ridiculous how critics get labelled as having it in for the sport. For instance we've now got people who regard Lenegan et al as out to destroy the sport. Just nonsense, it really is. Lenegan cares about RL. So does Hetherington. So, dare I say it, does Nigel Wood, and I'm pretty confident that Gutterfax does too. Threads aren't derailed by negative posts, they're derailed when the response to those posts is to start questioning the personal motives and character of the poster, yeilding endless meta-discussions like this one, which, since they're part of the problem, I'll shut up about and sign off having said my piece.
i'm starting to wonder how you're still allowed to post. its like you want to make you're point everyday and its getting beyond boring with this martyn sadler said this ow and now he says this, its like you're a primary school kid.
Those are the only 2 posts I've made regarding Sadler :s
According to Wales Online 50k is possible for the opener and is almost certain to be a record crowd for an opener (so over 41k).
It's very difficult to be negative about ticket sales for this tournament unless you really do have some serious issues.
Looking at the ticket site you can only singles in areas from £20-£50 so we must be above 50,000. The only seats available in more then singles are £60 and £99 and they're on the bottom two tiers. If we consider a couple of weeks back they said they only had 5,000 seats left in those bottom two tiers I'm guessing at most there must be 2-3,000 tickets left for tomorrow from the areas on sale. Looking at the greyed out areas on the ticket map I'd say that accounts to about 12,000-15,000 seats so we must be looking at around 55,000 if not a few more sold.

I know what you mean, we can't afford for the team to fall flat on it's face a bit like it did at Melbourne in 2008. That would deflate everything pretty quickly.
I think the team will go well tomorrow though. I think the win will be too tough an ask but we'll give it a real crack led by the 2 Sam's.

if it is then i'm sorry and i am getting you confused with some else and wrongly took out a bit of frustration on you. Just wish people would generally be more excited and positive about the world cup as it looks as if it will be the best organized tournament rugby league has had in awhile.

A top effort if that's the case.
Not quite true; the fast ticket hasn't worked for the £50 area and hasn't been updated to include new £30 areas in that same area. That said, the £20, £25, £30 (behind the posts) and £40 areas are definitely single tickets only. Estimating around 63k tickets on sale with likely around 55k sold. Interesting to know if/where they'll seat all the other players in the Opening Ceremony i.e. dancers, choir et al.
