The two local amateur clubs in Donny took a load of kids to the game last night. I'm assuming the cup organisers worked with them.

They gave a certain number of tickets to essential workers through a ballot.

£25 restricted view tickets released for Bolton. People are assuming these ar behind camera gantry's, next to big screens etc as Bolton doesn't have restricted views as such.

Also now seeing people moan that this game isn't at a bigger ground like Anfield or the Etihad. But I guarantee these people would be moaning that there was 20/30k empty seats if it was. You just can't please RL Fans!

Organisers are saying they have already generated £1m more revenue than 2013. Some of that will be better sponsorship this time round and you'd need to adjust 2013 prices for inflation...but some fans forget it's all about cash in the till not just bums on aeats

The business model was based on selling games to venues, so I assume the tournament had minimum incomes from each fixture.

Its definitely progress, and more progress is still required
