Sigh, you originally stated that the bottom teams had better start to perform, otherwise they will be playing the top Championship teams.

All I’m saying is, four SL teams will have to, even if all twelve SL clubs finished on equal points!

As to not playing the game, what’s that got to do with the price of fish?

End of the 2015 season lets say the second tier of 8 are:

Widnes
Castleford
Bradford
Castleford

London
Wakefield
Leigh
Halifax

Operating on a salary cap far far less than those in superleague, would they realistically stand a chance of gaining promotion?

not if Castleford enter two teams

also not sure why the team finishing top of championship 4 years in a row isn't there

It's basically a 12 by 12 system. The odds of 4 teams all being relegated are close to zero. Despite people's Cynicism on here I think given a few years people will wonder what all the fuss was about.

the biggest problem with super league is not enough money for all the teams, so how does spreading that cash more thinly not become a problem? or how about those teams who are now going to spend more hoping they can avoid relegation? or how about the 22 rounds that are truly becoming friendlies apart from the bottom teams?

Does this mean we'll have a 2nd set of fixtures drawn after 23 rounds? Can't see that going wrong, I mean how difficult could it be to arrange a trip to Catalans or Tolouse at a few days notice...in August.
