During the current franchised, 14 club, top 8 play-off system SL era... the total attendances in SL to date remain the lowest we have ever witnessed. Neither the replacement of the poorly-supported Crusaders with the better-supported Widnes, nor the establishment of 2 new stadia, nor the re-establishment of heavily-discounted SL tickets via cheap Groupon/BOGOF/Buddy offers has prevented 2013 SL attendances from being the worst on record so far.
SL Rounds 1 to 24 total attendances comparison (2009 to 2013) SL 2013 - 1,425,421 from 161 fixtures plus 7 MAGIC fixtures. SL 2012 - 1,592,565 from same 161 fixtures plus 7 MAGIC fixtures. Do you have the corresponding ticket offers for previous years? Obviously we wouldn't be able to make a fair comparison without them.
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

List of the top 80+ professional clubs around the world and their attendances in the season ended or just about to end..... 2 League clubs in the top 10 and no SL club inside the top 20.
Not sure what the RFL are going to do about it, but they do need to look long and hard at the bottom 25% which contains 8 current SL team....with Salford and London being beaten down by the 2 mickey poor Scottish clubs and one of the Italian Club sides

Hull KA? Yes the team with 5 non-english players in the team at weekend. One more than FC. Quite happy with 68th for a small club and doing minimal cheap deals compared to other clubs.
Leeds played with 13 academy products this weekend. 1 overseas player. Hudds, and Wigan have done similar things this year, and Saints wont have been far away.
When Hull KR invest in their academy which is the joint lowest rated in SL, start bringing through more quality young players, and stop bringing in so many overseas players. People will stop mocking them.
