No Sadfish,I mean precisely what I said,'despite the efforts of rlfans.com,the competition is set to be a success.

rlfans.com condone the two anti rugby league posters, dispite the requests of the vast majority of posters for them to be banned and therefore quite clearly rlfans.com is trying to undermine both rl and the tournament.

There have been repeated polite requests to ban the people in question, they have been banned by other sites, yet repeatedly rlfans.com condone their clear objectives.

I agree with this. At the end of the World Cup it is very likely I will stop visiting RLFANS.com. I do not live in the heartlands and my work colleagues are not RL fans (although nicely a few of them are becoming aware of the tournament about to start) so I use these boards to discuss the sport I am passionate about with like-minded people

Of course, I don’t expect everybody to have the same opinions and the point of a discussion forum is to discuss and debate but the deliberate efforts to take every thread off track becomes tiresome after a while. Yes, we can individually ignore certain people but each and every decent discussion is derailed and becomes useless to the point that it isn’t worth bothering anymore

Totally agree, I've brought this up with a mod too.

I agree with this, allowing these people to post on here is ruining the VT.

If we are referring to William Eve and Gutterfax please add me to the ban them list.

Can we start a poll on this maybe ?

I have to say, I don't know whether it was the intention, but this thread is making me really excited about the world cup.
Lots of positive news on here

I ordered tickets for 2 matches late on Tuesday night. Had to get ones for the final via MUFC's website as the RLWC / Tickemaster one. The ones from MUFC have apparently arrived. So, seems they are more efficient. I suppose when they get c.80,000 every match they need to be.

Actual sales of tickets and which games people are going to, etc.

You're right, this thread is hugely positive in the main and it's good to see so many people looking forward to so many games but in between all that is a right load of old sh!te that has been posted.

Just to contribute to the thread, all my tickets came a couple of weeks after I ordered them, no problems.

I'm missing both double headers which is a shame but I'm looking forward to NZ v Samoa and Fiji v Ireland on Sunday and Monday, especially if the crowds are going to be as quoted.
