Well we're in the final home straight, any news on how tickets are selling for the opener?



We need a big crowd for it to look good.

600 left in the West, 400 left in the North, 800 left in the South, East not on sale yet. Any ideas what that gives us so far?

I reckon that would put us at just over 5k sold.

Not bad with a couple of weeks to go.

the top tier is now open, its just Ticketmaster haven't 'coloured in' the areas on the website.

Using the unscientific method of hovering over the blocks on the website to see if they have sold out...it doesn't seem to have picked up unfortunately.



with the travelling distances involved, they need to focus on marketing it in the North West, Wales & South East now...its too late to book hotels, coaches etc from places further away.



I also wouldn't be against them giving out free tickets to schools, and local sports teams if it means completely filling the bottom 2 tiers of the ground.

Half of the Upper tier of the KC is now open, but again not showing as open on the website, wish Ticketmaster would get the pictures updated!

You're not wrong, they're good at selling tickets and taking your money but not very good at ensuring you get them.

Ticketmaster are a bit of a joke at the moment. And the website not being updated is what is leading to the phone lines being so jammed. I had to ring for Final tickets and got offered seats that weren't available on the website, And I would guess that with more stands being made available for a lot of games this could be happening a lot.

I assume the colouring on Ticket master is not automatic.



To be honest some of the graphics are not overly user friendly. Not sure who submitted those, the clubs or the ticket seller. But could be a target for improvement next time.



The fact someone has to colour in sections manually as they sell out or new sections are opened up, really should be an automated process.

Reading back I belive that last code to work was "DANCE" which I assume was targetted at those supporting people involved in pre-match activities.

I've already got my final tickets, but for anyone trying to get 2 seats together all those yellow sections showing on the website, you can't get 2 seats together.



So surely they should be changed from yellow as that's 20 ish sections that you have to click back and forth on and each time it comes up not available.



They may not be sold out, but how difficult would it be to put up single seats only left. They could be lossing sales by people wasting ages trying to get 2 or more seats together in sections that are not available apart from single seats. Meanwhile the last sections are on sale, but the graphic shows unavailable.



I'd be spitting feathers if I was the seller. It's fine saying sales are going well, but they need to keep ontop of ticketmaster on these kind of things.

Is there anway of seeing where in a particular block your prospective seat is? ie are there any plans of the blocks?

There is a way of it being automated, similar to what you'd see on the Man Utd E-Ticketing that was quoted earlier in the thread (green for availablity, red for full/unavailable etc). However, that doesn't give you the indication as to which prices are in which block.

I'm sure there's a fast ticket option at the top?

Over 40,000 sold for Cardiff according to Martyn Sadler on twitter

Good but will look half empty on tv

How many will walk up to buy? 5,000?

Bit disappointed with that, means that only about 5/6,000 have been sold in the last 2 weeks, and you'd imagine that due to Cardiff's location, people aren't just going to decide to go there at last minute.
