Not actually seen a replay of it but my first reaction when watching it live was 'bloody hell, that's a shocker' !!

if it was deliberate then he should cop a huge ban for that, we dont need it in our game.

I was never defending the tackle, just the misconception that it was an elbow.

Sloppy technique that will see him get banned, if Cas had a good coach he would also spend time having it trained out of him.

No but as an International you should know how to tackle!!

It was a disgusting cheap shot, I have always rated Chase highly! and nowI hope to never see him in an England shirt again.

Why did Jonathan Walker congratulate himself when he broke Luke Burgess' jaw from an accidental head collision...again on a shoulder charge?

If you allow shoulder charges, things like this will happen from time to time - the only way to stop it would be to copy Union and ban shoulder charging.

He wasn't congratulating himself, he merely threw his arms up in exasperation that his perfectly innocent challenge was so unfortunately mistimed. Don't you know anything?

If you allow shoulder charges, things like this will happen from time to time - the only way to stop it would be to copy Union and ban shoulder charging.

Apart from the fact you've already estabilished, through the medium of high def, high speed photography, that there was no shoulder involved. In this case you'd have to outlaw strikes to the chops with a fuzzy elbow/booty, and thats already been done.

A poor attempt at a shoulder charge, like the one Chase made would make an excellent case for outlawing the shoulder charge because there are players who don't know how to do it properly and in a manner which can be considered safe.

Oh and just so you know, you can see the white shorts Cas were wearing further down the image
