Bateman has been outstanding in defence.

They have gotten over the top of our pack and we have dropped off far too many tackles. We have too many players who just can't do the basics well enough, consistently enough to give us a platform

Chopping and changing the lineup hasn't helped, bringing back an aging Kevin Brown who hasn't played for weeks wasn't the answer today.

Got to say I've not been impressed with Bennett so far, we looked better under McManara.

Which is not a valid reason for why he should be in the team. If he isnt playing well he should not play. It's not like he has been great for the dragons.

George Williams should be in the team as England need a running half back.

Honestly this is no joke now. Come the world cup next year I can see Wayne picking the Australian players who qualify for England. I think he was tempted for the 4 nations but after this he will claim he needs better players. I can see the morrris brothers running out for England next year.

We need to re-introduce promotion and relegation, we'll never beat the aussies until every game means...oh wait, I forgot which format we currently have.

I mean we need to do away with promotion and relegation, we'll never beat the aussies until teams can build for the future and invest in youngsters.

Same old same old. We will never be good enough until we stop all the average journey men overseas players playing in super league. I really believe two things need to happen limite over seas players to 3 and 5 max including residency players.

And do what Australia do, only pick players who play in super league,

probably.If that happens though i no longer have any interest in the international game.

That's a fair point to which I agree.

That also applies to certain other players who, despite their constant inadequaices at international level, continue to get picked because I quote "there's no one better".
