Bit harsh to single out Makinson. Apart from an ageing Roby and a half a season Barba. Saints just aren’t that good.

Leeds are a spent force these days having to qualify to stay in super league on two recent seasons is the reality, too may great players lost and not replaced to stay competitive. You need to look west for trophies from now on.

What did we do in that middle season of two seasons of qualifying to stay in SL??? Won a trophy that most never have and won’t.

Yeah that’s what people said in October 2016 and that ended up with plenty of egg on faces 12 months later.

Next year's comp is wide open. Lots of changes taking place at most clubs, on and off the pitch, especially at the bigger clubs. Take into account a new format, next year should be pretty exciting

I reckon the top 5 will be similar to the ones this year, quite a few quality players going to the NRL and some players coming to their sell by date. With this in mind Im not expecting an improved standard of Superleague.

LLS might be wide open. GF will go to one of two teams unless they both suffer badly from injuries, Wigan did in 2017, Leeds did in 2018. If neither do it could a repeat of the 2015 GF.

Warrington missed a big chance tonight.wigan were ragged and made a lot of mistakes just that wire didn't offer much when in the red zone.

Going back to the old play off format could stop a team outside the top making the final.
