Yup, sure was a boring, uninteresting and uneventful season in this (Cas) neck of the woods................................if this is the prelude to another boring season then all I can say is

It's not just League that has been overlooked by Sky, the usual Union reviews are also missing from their schedules.
This new years eve Sky have two channels dedicated to a day of soccer, all hail the round ball god!

Trailing behind Premier League Darts on a Thursday night in terms of viewing figures will soon be as good as it gets for an increasingly marginalised and irrelevant sport.

Flogging exclusive rights of everything (SL, CC, afterthought internationals) to the ghetto of Sky TV from 2017 to 2021 ought to be sufficient enough to consign full time professional RL to several dustbins dotted alongside the M62.

Hopefully, the whole process shouldn't be too painful.

To be honest the whole Sky Sports schedule around Xmas is different. This year it's just repeats of the Ryder Cup and Lewis Hamiltons 2014 wins and 'Darts Gold' and other repeats of events rather than any full 'reviews of years'
