I am biased but Daryl Clark is class and probably doesn't quite get the credit he deserves from the media, not that he's bothered one bit I'm sure.

was he injured for a long part of last season? can't really remember anybody mentioning him not even the usual "warrington are signing him".

I don't but it was a phase along with Bateman where every weekend somebody would say they will be at warrington next year. Did he play many games?

Daz played most games last year, may have missed a couple but I'm certain he played 20+. Stepped it up another gear this year too with more to come me thinks.

If (and based on what I've seen it is possible) Hull have a good season and break the top 4 then Joe Westerman will be in with a shout. He is being played as more of a traditional loose man rather than a wide running second row like he did under Gentle. Been our best player every game so far. Not only has he had a hand in a lot of tries but after 4 games he has made 506 metres, 138 tackles, 17 tackle busts and 7 offloads. As has always been the case with Westy though he needs to cut out his penalties, but then so do the entire team.

As mentioned above, if he can keep up his form for the full year Westerman will make the short list. Absolutely unplayable last night. He's playing a big part in a Lot of our trys. He's finally started to show us what a great player he is.

Westerman isn't even on the list on sky bet which means he is at least 100/1. Believe me the way he has started the season that's worth £1 of anyone's money.
