They are working with the supermarket partner in the planning permission stages.

Indeed, Tesco are the end user but they are looking at a number of sites, as you would expect, in Castleford.

Thats to cover the interim period until the new stadium gets built, should that get the nod from the PI.

The temporary works have been submited to the planners and a decision is expected by December with works starting in January. It will take approx. 4 weeks to complete.

Apart from rumour any official confirmation of this? FWIW Tesco are also looking in Pontefract.

Saints new ground looks a cracker. Hopefully by 2014 every SL club will have a decent facility

Whilst writing that I wondered how long it would take a Wakey fan to post somert contradictory

Its amazing how knowledgeable Wakey fans are about the planning processes of Castleford. Can't believe every member of Wakey council posts on RLFANS under a pseudonym...
