The big dipper also remembers the last time Wigan owned their own stadium and didn’t have to go cap in hand to a football club that were miles away from the premier league to ask if they can play rugby games there

Correct, the car park is owned by Peel Holdings and they set pricing. AFAIK parking pricing will be changed once the announcement is made about the stadium ownership. £10 is a joke and even at £8 (which I think was the previous price) it's too high.

I still don't know why fans don't choose other parking options. You can park at Barton Airport, Salford City Roosters (previously Eccles RLFC) or on the street in the Peel Green area. All within 15 minutes walk of the ground. I understand that some fans have mobility issues but the vast majority don't.

As someone who drives to a lot of away games I never park at any grounds official car park. At Headingley I park off Burley Road, at Wigan I park on Scot Lane and at Saints it's easier to park down near the Glass Horse Pub.

Just stop being lazy sods and do some research before away games.... you'll save yourself time and a fair bit of £££!
