That's still definitely happening. Saints get a yellow card again tonight. Hull KR concede 7 penalties for high shots and late hits and get nothing. They're not even hiding it.
You should have seen the decisions in the Leeds game tonight. A late hit on Sezer that resulted in him leaving the field for HIA assessment, and the ref played on - whilst turning around to look at a motionless player on the ground no fewer than three times, but ignored it completely. Numerous foul play ignored, constant offsides, missed handling errors, and Leeds receiving hardly any penalties. Whatever happened to RFL standing for 'Rugby Football Leeds'?
It'd not a conspiracy, it's just poor refereeing. It happens in all games against all teams. St Helens fans don't understand cognitive bias and refuse to take their blinkers off.

I think it's fair to say that we should remember that we can scoff on the current form on certain teams but, we must also remember, nothing is won in April, and humble pie can be consumed regrettably later.
Completely agree with you. As has already been pointed out, silverware has been won from a poor first half of the season on numerous occasions.
I wonder how soon the conspiracy theories will disappear if Saints hit a bit of form? Will the resident pest still think Wire's bubble has burst if they get another 8 game winning streak? Both are very possible.
It is not a first past the post league structure, and you only have to finish top half of the table and hit a bit of form and good luck.
