Final Day : Sat Oct 06, 2018 8:31 am
So, given the fact that the Million Pound Game, Championship Shield Final and League 1 Play-off Finals are all being played on the same day, wouldn't it have been sensible to hold all 3 together in a neutral location and market it as a triple-header event?

A 15-20k stadium would be an easy fill given the 6 teams involved and would give all 3 games the sense of occasion they deserve.

 Great idea, but that's too difficult for the RFL to think like that.

Ok in principle, but... the Championship Shield doesn't have that much attraction (albeit Fev and Leigh fans will still turn up), the MPG would certainly suffer on a neutral ground given the two teams involved, and the Championship playoff final would be well supported by Bradford, but surely with greater numbers at home.

The advantage of finishing higher in their respective games was a home game in the final.

What's more disappointing is that only the MPG is being shown on TV.

Yeah let's pointlessly attack the RFL for nothing again, certainly nothing that is really to do with them.

Given how the hosting clubs have earned home advantage, and how important that advantage might be, it would need the clubs to agree to change this as a structure change before the start of the season.

If you look at this years finalists you would be lucky to get 3,000 fans to it plus Bradford and Toronto have earned there home advantage

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

EDITED. IF YOU HAD STUCK TO THE REASONED ARGUEMENTS AND AVOIDED THE PERSONAL ABUSE AND AVOIDING THE SWEAR FILTER THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. DURHAM GIANT.

who had to borrow 7 academy players to fulfil a fixture. We know we will probably lose, but still taking over 600 fans.
But YOU if you are a St. Helens fan, which I have my doubts, couldn't be bothered (along with a few others) to attend the game v Warrington.
