Leigh are the laughingstock of Rugby League, yet until recently people have been calling for them to be in Super League in place of the mighty Toronto Wolfpack.

It’s not a laughing matter what’s happened to them it’s the same thing that would happen to a lot of clubs if there main backer pulled out your precious Toronto also I agree a pro club should be able to field a full team that is bad management Halifax are a great example of how a club should be run not living beyond there means and running a reserve team which should be a rule

Utterly embarassing, that yet another club in the heartlands, the supposed hot bed of rugby league cant field 17 players.

Being a supporter of a club that almost went the same way due to a wide-boy being in charge, I take no pleasure in it; but something has to be done to protect clubs from morons like Beaumont, Koukash and the combination of shysters who did Bradford over recently.

Isn't Koucash still paying some of Salford's bills ?

He financed the jackson hastings short term deal, not sure if he is paying for anything else, still does corporate at salfords home games 'now & then' though

I am surprised at all this fake indignation that has appeared, our club has got three young lads on loan there & we took two higher paid players from them, a good deal all round but if any team looses 11 players from a squad of 25 they will struggle, But the main reason they are in bother is that they can’t take anyone in on loan or bring in local amateurs is that it is past the deadline for new signings a rule that has good intentions but the system is not geared up for a bit of common sense to be applied as I am sure there are fringe players out there that their clubs would love to see get some game time.
