Doesn't take much more than one richer backer deciding he wants to retire to see one of the "big" clubs go into freefall with no funding. Really need a solid supporter base or the game is finished. This isn't football where the big clubs can live off sponsorship and TV revenue alone.

Toronto has an attendance of 8,281 yesterday with hardly any away fans. If clubs are relying on getting a considerable number of away fans through the gate each week they don’t deserve to be in Super League.

8000+ fans with hardly any away support. Unbelievable.

Cracking write up in the Toronto star which is the main sports story on their web page. Something along the lines of Toronto have rattled the feathers of the flat cappers but their inclusion in SL will only benefit these “small market teams” lol.

Points difference wise, Leeds would have to lose by 32 next week to Toronto to not make the top 3. (And HKR win by 44)

Also the u19’s are playing in the u19’s GF next weekend so we won’t be throwing any kids in.
