The Shaun Briscoe Testimonial Committee is proud to announce the provisional squads for the Legends Game which is due to take place on Sunday 19th May at the Stobart Stadium, Halton.The game will feature a Shaun Biscoe XIII who will take on a Suremove Widnes XIII as Vikings from yesteryear turn out to honour the Widnes fullback who was awarded a three month testimonial by the RFL in recognition of his services to the game at both Club and Country level
Shaun has announced an initial 21 man squad for the game which really does include some Legends of the modern era including Paul Sculthorpe, Chris Joynt, Steve Prescott and Paul Newlove plus a couple of ringers in the shape of Denis Betts and Mick Cassidy.
The Widnes line up is due to include a number of players from the 1993 Cup Final side including Bobbie Goulding, Darren Wright, Stuart Spruce, David Hulme and Esene Faimalo.
Further details will be announced shortly with admission on the day by donations on the turnstiles
