Maguire was a black mark on RL in this country. Whilst coaches like Daniel Anderson and Brian McLennan won championships on the back of exciting Rugby league, Maguire set out to win at all costs, evident by the way Danny Maguire was seriously injured and laughed at on the floor by the wigan players as he writhed in agony. Then there has been the constant bending back of limbs, trying to seriously maim the opposition. Even Phil Clarke has jumped on the bandwagon with his disgusting comments about the Danny Maguire incident.

I think its fitting that the 2 fairest teams in the comp, who have been on the receiving end of Wigans tactics should contest the Grand Final and make it a proper family day out instead of the knuckle dragging, salivating neanderthals from Wigan, that would pour into manchester on grand final day.

I for one cant wait to mingle with the Leeds fans and have a beer with them, rather than having to watch my arms and legs, should wigan have got there.

I know numbers don't mean much, but I thought Foster/ Makinson would've got the 5/2 shirt.

Foster specifically requested the 22 shirt as it's his Nan's favourite number or something. Plus it's a very marketable tag, Foster 22. I'd say 90% of Saints shirts sold to under 18s next season will carry his name and number.

Fair play if there is a reason, just seemed odd. Makinson for 1 next year?

I think they will both play in those positions for Saints next year with Gardner as backup and Meli in the centres

Why?

I genuinely don't see what all the fuss is about, he's an average player in a good side, no where near good enough for international football, Although he's a very good goal kicker and as for the Beckham of RL I'm speechless there's no similarity whatsoever.
