So, here we go. Levelling up money. It has not yet been awarded but the plan for Bradford South involves an Odsal redevelopment. I've collected some of the pertinent links, including today's T&A. Council Prospectus May'22 The council's overview of why Bradford district will deliver more levelling up stuff per £££ invested. Bradfordzone-more detail T&A front page - focussing on Stadium rebuild Last year's successful bid - Squire Lane Enterprise centre The council have prepared bids for all 5 Bradford District wards. We tried a stadium with Tesco as a partner - failed. The council needs to take the lead, and seems to be doing so.

I thought we were up to version 14.4 now to be honest

On a serious note, im a bit of a stadium nerd. In todays day and age there is absute zero need to build a new ground with fans so far away from the pitch if the are behind the sticks. Absolute terrible design on that front. The rest doent look too shabby tho!

The talk of a new stadium development didn't Omar Khan once have plans to develop the ground and turn the pitch to face the stand so it would be behind the posts or have I got it wrong.

Not pinning any hopes on levelling up money with a recession around the corner and the two prospective PMs not exactly being on the front rank of heavyweight politicians.

Bradford South is a Labour marginal so could be a chance that the new PM might want to pump some money in if they think it would buy a few votes. Can see them more likely to put it into Tory marginals like Keighley.

Nice to see a new artists impression of Odsal, it's been a few years since we had one.
