Game against Toulouse away cancelled altogether. Neither teams to receive any punishment. Shame but could work to our favour in the long run.

Have to worry about Toulouse completing their season. Can't see things being back to normal regarding travel for a number of weeks.

I thought elite sports were given travel dispensations, is this not the case?
Toulouse have definitely sacrificed home advantage and played matches over here before now.

No free weekend till end of season now and Toulouse have to isolate for 7 days when they return to France except for training so can't play mid-week.

Could someone remind me about what this means for points. If the Championship is on a percentage system, is not playing them at all better than losing? And what if we'd won?

Toulouse have to complete 70% or 16 games to enter play offs. I think our game will be the third cancelled so with the new variants it's very touch and go. Bookmakers have withdrawn odds on promotion as Toulouse were as low as 4/6. Interesting times.

Toulouse wont be penalised because game is abandoned so wont count in their 70% of games to be played.

Oh really? That wasn't how I understood it. That means they could finish top of the league having played only 13/14 games. That sounds totally mad. So probably true.

Confused me too but the T&A article makes it clearer "Although clubs are required to have played 70 per cent of their scheduled fixtures to be eligible for the play-offs, the RFL Board has previously ruled that Toulouse matches postponed as a result of the current quarantine regulations will not count as postponed for either Toulouse or their opponents." https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/ ... cancelled/
