Just hope we handle these kind of deals sensitively. Pickersgill has been our most improved player this season and we don;t want to put noses out of joint. These loan deals are all very well but these lads will all be going as soon as their parent club needs them and we don't want to leave ourselves too reliant on them.

To be fair we've being doing well without them.

As you say they need to be done right. Don't want to get to end of season where we've used 40+ players as we know how that works out. Nor do we want to come to the play-offs and our star men are played off their feet after playing every minute of every game (Adam O'brien anyone)

Hopefully they'll come in, show their quality, get us an important win and relieve some of the workload off others.

I agree but the squad is thin and these signings are better quality than we could hope to sign permanently. Pick has been excellent but with the signing of the big Fiji winger I get the feeling Kear wants more metres in kick return . Fev and Toulouse have huge squads and if we're going to get to the play offs and compete we'll need more than what we have in house. Robson is talking about staying longer. JK has mentioned 'resting' as if this is all about squad management for the long haul - which I think is right.

So long as we get the balance right I'm ok with it. We just don't want to become dependent on loan players if we can help it. I have bitter memories of 2017 when we looked like we might stay up when we had the likes of Oledzki, Murray and Larroyer in the side on loan and then come Easter they were gone and so were we.
