Matty suffered an ACL injury in 2019 and I think he only played once for Hull. He was out for a year before we signed him. I hope this is not a recurring injury problem with him. Best of luck MDJ.

Round 4 sees us away at Whitehaven. What are your thoughts? Same team again? What’s up with Gallagher? And is there any report on Murphy and England?

John Kear said after the game on Sunday evening that both are okay. Aaron Murphy was winded and taken off as a precaution, Brad England had a cut to the forehead and with ten minutes left in the game was also taken off as a precaution.

The only new injury concerns are those to Billy Jowitt and Matty Dawson-Jones.

Sam Hallas is due back for the York/Featherstone games.

Oldham have just beaten Fax. Anyone can beat anyone on this league (not that we should need reminding) a chance to maybe start making a gap between us and some of the teams we all thought would be top 6 but have started poorly like Widnes, Fax etc

Cheers Mick.

So same team then to face Whitehaven? I’d say they’ve earned it.

Real shame for Dawson-Jones. Hands down our best winger. Hopefully when he comes back he will be fit and raring to go. And Hallas’ return would be a huge boost in the middle.

There may be a bit of a late doubt with Brad England but I'd expect him to pass and play tomorrow.

Yeah, JK made reference to MDJ finishing and that the club is lucky that both Joe Brown and David Foggin-Johnston are in the form of their careers at present.
