when does the motor racing season start.are they a charity time is of the essence. You cant just walk onto site in January and then start. They must surely if serious have all the plans in place now costs done contractors ready why would the rfl want to put any money in would that be a loan out of a loan methinks the bookie had an easy time though I did like was it "corporate citizen"
If the RFL are using money that belongs to member clubs, have those clubs been asked to approve those funds being used to improve the safety/facilities of Odsal Stadium? Thanks
Yes. Yes they have. The RFL have even given the Bulls a £10 000 000 salary cap. The RFL are also paying for it. Also, it's done just to pee off which ever fan hates Bradford.

And let's not forget that £100 the every Bulls fan gets every month from the RFL for being their favourite fans.

Now you just being silly, if you want a sensible discussion, you need to grow up.

How would we know any more than you about how the RFL is spending its money?
Are you just not trying to make a point that you think that the RFL are spending the RFLs money on the huge, empty stadium that they own instead of spending it on clubs? And I'll hazard a guess that you think that them spending that money on the aforementioned stadium is entirely wrong too?
If so, just say it mate. It is fine to have an opinion (although I'm not sure it belongs in this thread).
I'm not saying you're wrong either, just don't get shirty when some replies to a loaded question with a daft answer. We've had quite enough of the RFLs 'help' over the past few years anyway...

Without the help from the RFL, regarding them buying an overpriced Odsal lease, I’m sure you and many Bulls fans, would probably agree, your club in all probability, would no longer exist. All rugby league fans, and clubs contribute to RFL funds. Do you believe that any club should receive preferential treatment at any time, let alone at such a time as now, when the RFL have borrowed £28.million, to survive the next few years. I think the possibility of some clubs not surviving is real. The RFL funds don’t belong just to Bradford Bulls, to prop up Odsal Stadium.

But when the RFL bought the lease this forced the bank to pull in the overdraft that the Bulls (at that time) had, as it was secured on their ownership of the ground. Without the security of owning the ground, we went bankrupt. Don't you remember?
I'm sure that the RFL bought it for the good of Rugby League AND the Bulls. At least that is what they said, isn't it?
But pretty much immediately it pushed the Bulls into liquidation. That very action.
And as were some more liquidations and appalling (and chosen by the RFL) owners down the line now and STILL have a club, I think you're bang wrong when you surmise that the bulls "...would no longer exist. ...." if they hadn't bought the ground.
...The RFL funds don’t belong just to Bradford Bulls, to prop up Odsal Stadium..."
No, they don't.
But if I bought a speedboat that it didn't need, even though I thought I did need it, I would still have to pay the outstanding balance for it. If the RFL didn't want to be responsible for the costs, they shouldn't have bought the lease. Maybe they thought that they could hold the tenants over a barrel to pay the costs? Well, that didn't work out well for them either.
But, as I was trying to say before, this isn't a problem for the Bulls, this is a problem for the RFL. We know as much of what the RFLs priorities and costs are as you do.
I think Odsal is past its prime and I'm sure a lot of fans on this forum would agree that it was a financial millstone around the club's neck. But it isn't anymore, is it?
