Yes, but to be fair Paramatta's third choice hooker in 2005 didn't appear to be top quality!

I think if they're being released, the least the club could do is have a gander, admittedly no big names there, but we can't build a team of superstars.

Keith Peters: 23 year old hooker. PNG WC2008 squad member. Given Newton's age and being OOC this year might be considered for a replacement
Matthew Bell: 27 year old 2nd Rower. Austrailian No rep honours. Do we really need to sign another 2nd rower?
Maurice Blair: 24 year old Centre/Half back/LF. He covers positions that we've showing a lack of cover in. Played Centre for the Indigenous Dreamtime Team who defeated the NZ Maori 34-26 at the World Cup Opening Ceremony
Junior Moors:22 year old 2nd row/LF. Played for the aus school boys in 2004.
Joel Romelo: 20 year old half back/hooker. NZ. Yet to make 1st grade debut.

Basically they are in the majority young players who've not yet broken through. No superstars yet. But there's plently of time for them to change that. Would hate to think the club just dismiss them all out of hand

Joel Romelo is a very good player saw him murder Leeds 18's 2 years ago.
