I have to agree. Solomona tries to get the ball away in just about every tackle, at first it seemed good, but now it's either knock-on or interception. Id swap Sol for Fielden any day.

But he isn't anymore he hardly ever gets involved.

Agreed. He was never capable of doing more than two fairly short spells as an impact player.
If he cant impact any more then whats his role?

I'm still not convinced that's correct. 1) A four and half year contract is unlikely if it isn't. 2)There isn't been any announcement of an extended contract by the club.

Only going on what Hood said in an interview with - I think it was - Sledger's Rag a few weeks ago. Assumed Macca must have had an extension somewhere along the way.

Your observations are reasonable though, and must admit would be good to get some more confirmation somewhere along the way regarding the situation.

I sort of have this feeling we won't get it though.

I was wonder if it's just a misquote something on the lines he's contracted till 2010 but in fact means the end of 2009.
