Waiting for an announcement...

The performance was there last night. The effort was outstanding, the players did very well and it was a terrific result. The likes of Halley, Worrincy (!), Sheriffe and Jeffries were terrific and the side pulled off a wholly unexpected win that MAY kick-start the season and they (and McNamara) deserve all the praise they will get after the game.

However, they now need to push on and prove that it was not just a case that managed to raise our game against our derby rivals and that it was a one off. I could also ask where that performance had been for the rest of the season.

Credit where it is undoubtedly due, the team proved me (and more than a few others) wrong last night. Hopefully I will be eating a lot more humble pie in the following weeks.

 well done for showing up ME, there will be plenty of posters who wont post again untill we lose again. And I agree with the bit in bold, we really need to back it up on Monday at Wakey, that could be even tougher though, to raise ourselves after that effort with such a short turnaround.

Irrespective of whether this win secures his future, hopefully MacNamara will feel free to watch the match from his normal place in future.

TBH think he should stay on touchline, gets more involved that way. Anyone else notice we used side entrance to changing rooms rather than tunnel at end of warm up. maybe a sign of keeping team and coaching staff away from the boo boys before kickoff? :)

Totally agree FA. A good point, not that his detractors will agree.
However, just for a bit of balance and to help your argument, what do the Wigan capitulation, the Castleford collapse and the early cup exit following another major bottling mean?

Still needing time to think FA?

No. You chose to stay off-site. I don't need "to think", as I have stated my views in detail on each of those games, so if you are that bothered, trawl back and read them.

Roughly translated - you can't. Or else you would have to contradict yourself and look silly. Well done!

You just can't be bothered to trawl back, and are happier resorting to your usual amateur dramatics and non sequiturs.

Meanwhile the fact remains that as I said, my opinions on the games you cite are there to be read, in the unlikely event that you actually wanted to know. It doesn't come any simpler than that.

I have read them. I am simply asking if a good win against Leeds means that he "can coach", then what do the bad performances say about him?

It is nothing to do with "amateur dramatics" in the slightest. It is actually more to do with the fact that you seem to contradict yourself completely and it pretty much shows that your argument is completely flawed.
