Poor man's Ian Wilkinson. What about Alex Green - he faired really well at Burnden Park as I recall.

I'd say Webb's defence isn't much of an issue because the 12 blokes in front of him can defend pretty well. Put him behind 12 blokes who can't defend and you'd find fans talking about it more often.

It should be said though that plenty of our knowledgeable 'fans' had a go at the immortal, legendary Keef during his career for having "no pace" and not being good enough in attack, allegedly poor under the high bomb, etc.

I think we just want improvement more than anything. So far, we seem to be going downhill with McNamara at the helm which would suggest something is going wrong with the coaching.

If a new coach comes in and things improve, then I guess it shows that the coaching going on at the club was poor.

but to be fair you dont coach errors and individual mistakes - the coach didnt tell Platt to do what he did , the coach doesnt miss tackles etc.

its been clear to me when watching you this year that the players are not doing their jobs well enough - surely some or most of the blame should lie with them rather than the bloke who probably dispairs at the players as much as you lot do !

It is not the first time he has done this and ANY coach should have told him after the first time that when caught in that situation you die with the ball.

That second half was terrible, and why top 'supposedly' players cannot tackle as we all saw, is unbelievable. Daft as it sounds there were some positives, and Nero looks a different player this year.
Unless we can build some defence I don't think we shall reach the last eight, and yet another wasted season. It was a terrible performance, and heads should roll. Somehow I am sure we will see little changes.

Making the top 8 really doesn't bother me that much right now. Obviously I want to see the Bulls win as many as possible but we're a long way off being challengers. If we continue as we are, then we quite rightly deserve to finish in the bottom few.

I just want to see some passion displayed for 80 minutes per game.
