What do people on here think, should he be given a chance in the forthcoming season. (obviously if injuries and fatigue permit it).

If we were to move Sykes to FB he would be an extra choice at centre.

No crookes would be in first, why drop platt for sykes? what would that achieve? Sykes positional sense in pish poor,

Yes, I think some of the young lads should be given a chance this year. The thing is Keal Carlile was put on the bench for the Leeds game last year then not even used, this sends young players the message we're better of with 16 players. We need to play players when they have a chance at a run of games rather than using them as a last resort.
There's been a lot of emphasis on building for th future and I hope some kids get a chance over the season

The only chance Duane has of getting a game is if injuries realy bite as he's only part time.

Oh, I was under the impression that he was now on a full-time contract. Obviously I'm not going to challenge you 'cause I haven't seen you be wrong yet!! I just saw him in a reserve fixture sometime last season and he looked to have quite a bit of potential.

duane is now full time and training with the 1st team as part of the squad and has been given the number 32 shirt for the 09 season
