No you're certainly not alone. I am quite happy for the RFL to assist Harlequins in promoting their club, however they should also not disrespect loyal fans in the heartlands.. which if they suggested a mid week friendly they would do.

I expect the RFL will hope we're knocked out the CC so they can schedule it in during a cup weekend.

CC weekend has been said on another forum, but how do they expect us to play the Sundaty after the final?

Two games in two days is taking the mickey

Look, I don't care about the sodding friendly. Really. Asserting that a friendly is a bigger game than a meaningful match is obvious gibberish. Your opponents are irrelevant, it's a friendly.

It's called the big picture, not that I expect any Bradford fans to understand that...

What a load of twaddle. The RFL have bent over backwards to help generate interest in RL in London and the embarrassing "crowds" that flock to the Union ground that you now call home show that it is a completely pointless exercise.

In fact, the very fact that you seem to rate a warm up game for Manly as being more important to Quins than league points pretty much emphasises this.

Perhaps the RFL should have a look at these opinions and revoke the SL licence for Quins (or whatever they will be called in 2012) because it is obviously of lesser importance to them these days.

See it's not an either/or situation, we'll have those two points off you later in the season

This Manly game has been give a big push in London, you think they are gonna scrap that? get real.

A slight benefit for RL in general and a specific benefit for RL in london - I can see that. The only team which was disadvantaged by this friendly was us. There wasn't a downside for Harlequins at all. At least the weather has fixed that. Harlequins will now also have to play a midweek match (3 games in 8 days or so). Once the injuries and fatigue start to pile up and the squad is stretched to the limit they will be able to say - well at least we had a prestigious friendly against manly Sea Eagles to offset the (worst case) loss of 6 valuable SL points

That is fine then, you keep the proceeds from the important friendly, we accept your forfeiture of the unimportant 2 superleague points, everyone is happy.

Mick couldn't be happy with this, on the VT he is saying he is mad with the fact Bulls have the fixture list of:
Game off, game, game off, game, game.
Giving you the two points would not resolve this issue, so not everyone is happy ;)

I am loving this.

Seeing all the Bulls fans sulking, because the big bad RFL are not putting them first.

AAAwwwwwwww didums.

You will play when the RFL/SKY want you to play.

Get used to it.
