5 weeks for a visa / around 6/8 for a work permit aslong as the applications are "staightforward".

The experience of clubs suggests these are sequential so it could be around 11-13 weeks for the process.

No, as I said it is a Tier 2 visa - no work permit

not that clued up then, cos its a Tier 2 visa that he needs, not a work permit, well on the right side of the Pennines anyway - I don't know about Yarkshire I admit

The discussion was regards Crocker, who applied under the old system.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

 http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/s ... 66,00.html BANISHED Cronulla star Greg Bird last night finally broke his silence about a controversial move to France by declaring: "I was over the constant harassment in Australia."
Bird, 25, yesterday modelled his new Catalans jumper in the southern French city of Perpignan and is set to debut for the club on Sunday morning (AEDT) against Castleford in Super League.

Angry at his critics yet excited at playing again, Bird opened up to The Daily Telegraph, saying from France: "I'm just relieved to be over here and back in a football environment and back around a team again. I just want to play footy again.

"I'm enjoying it over here away from the constant harassment. I was over the judgmental people (in Australia).
