Any chance of a bit of curry and a match in mid/end of September? Last decent length of time spent in Bradford before disappearing up north forever...

Probably have to be the first weekend of the play-offs if you want a home game - 22nd September ish - I'll provisionally clear the diary!

It's a reasonable site but it's hideously out of date for quite a few places. Some of the reviews of well known restaraunts are several years old.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

On a quiet evening I'd say you can't go far wrong with Omar's

http://www.omars.co.uk/index.php

For a slightly cheaper one in more basic surroundings there's the Karachi but this can be a bit inconsistent.

The International is passable and not bad even on busy nights. Does occasionally go mad with the salt though.

For the true whitey experience try the Aagrah in Shipley.

The Aagrah in Shipley was pretty poor last time I was there.
Akhbars Leeds rd. the best to date Naan breads like dustbin lids

The 3 singhs, Sticker Lane, is also worth a punt

Aye, had a proper look last night and noticed that.

I might get in touch with them and ask if they'll fund some research to get their site back up to date!

tbh, something of a replacement for it was in my mind when I started the original curry thread. I have the attention span of a goldfish however.

Akhbars is whitey paradise IMO (the number of Asian diners there notwithstanding). There are far better, far cheaper.

Agree with AP on the Westgate. Food wasn't great and the upstairs filthy. Also surrounded by prosies.

Agree with Bullseye on Omars. Thanks to Omars my eldest will now eat curry and personally I've never been dissapointed there.

Karachi can be variable but its best not to expect the best from a small curry house.

I wasn't hugely impressd with International on the first couple of evening visits but I've had 4 daytime visits in the past 6 weeks and its been very good each time. Hmmm, may go on Saturday.

Used to regularly go to Habibs on a dinnertime for the buffet and, as buffets go, that wasn't too bad.

For something fancy theres always Mumtaz. The food has always been very good but the prices are a bit prohibative.
