Well, you'd need to ask Eddie exactly what he meant, but that's not the way I took it. More along the lines of bringing an RU club in to Odsal give extra use to the stadium, is what I thought.

I agree that our crowds are diminishing as we drop ever lower but, somehow, I very much doubt he ever considered changing from RL to RU would be the answer to that.

Well lets hope it gets sorted soonish. Hull KR have just lost 2 backs long term and im sure they'll try come in for some of ours.

Thankfully the players dont seem unsettled by this latest admin.

The players, coaching staff and the rest of the staff will know who the potential new owners are, if what Pettit says is true and we are actually getting an owner worth having they wouldn't be going anywhere as there should be an air of optimism about the clubs future...

If we pay the debt and by the grace of god only get a 6 point deduction, we can still make the top 4.
If we bring in a few more players and use the deduction as a motivator we could beat KR 3 times which would be a big start towards getting there.

Reading some of their fans comments it would be nice to bring them down a peg or two, the first game at their place is vital!!!!
and it seems to me like the scene is been set for what is to be a very exciting season, I'm glad I have got my season ticket.

Or we get Marc Green back don't pay any debt back and get relegated and go part time? (just an after thought)

TBF i dont think theres any arrogance from the KR fans just optimisim. Similar to what we had when we were relegated. Years of complete averageness and never doing anything and finally having one of the worst years to be relegated.

They've sold a great number of season tickets putting many SL clubs to shame.

I don't think their current squad is as good as Leigh's last year however IMHO

I agree on both points, 4,000+ ST sales is a phenomenally good achievment for a Championship Club, indeed Bulls ST sales were excellent too prior to admin, though I foresee a drop due to unease over admin.

K.R's squad (presently) is some way short of the overall standard of the Leigh 2016 squad & with recruitment is likely to fall even further behind the Leigh 2017 squad, though our recruitment hasn't set the World on fire.

If you manage to stay Championship with only a 6pt deduction then you can make the 8's but I feel you might need a few quality additions.

I'm the opposite, if handled well, this can be a springboard for ST sales, feelgood factor, siege mentality (a feelgood siege...), clean slate etc, etc.

Whilst the last 2 owners have said all the right things, there's always been (for me anyway) a nagging doubt due to the fact neither of them were loaded. While there is potential for making money at Odsal, it is very much a medium/long term plan, based around land and/or a competitive team, based around homegrown players.

Short term, we just need cash, and the stability cash brings.

I'd say 3 bad ass additions to the squad, a stand off that woulnt spend all year injured, a mean forward (or two) and a class centre we would be very competitive
