Not sure about the union connection.

It would be a secondary use, for sure, but union isn't a big draw for fans, which is where the profit would come from. There are already are a few union clubs in the district, the biggest by far being Bradford and Bingley, playing at Wagon Lane, in Bingley. Even in a much bigger city like Leeds, their largest club, the Tykes, have failed to gain any great traction as far as support is concerned even when they've played in the top division for a couple of seasons.

Of course, there is quite a bit of cash floating around at the top of RU clubs, way beyond what you might expect, given the general lack of interest.

I agree, a link with Avenue makes much more sense.

I think he -she means Bulls turning R U.

Does either Richardson or Caisley have the money that would be required?

So Burr arriving is some good news!

On another note correct me if I am wrong but if we do get docked half the money for 2 Years would we lose the same amount over the two years? For example we lose £100,000* this season but if we were to gain promotion to Super League (unlikely) would we lose £100,000* again in 2018 or possibly more due to the increase in money?

*Figure made up for the purpose of ease and to make it easier to discuss.

Sorry for the daft question!

May I refer you to FA to increase your confusion on this point.

On the other hand, the Administrator of OK Bulls in his first report, available for free on Co Ho, confirms my position that we received the money we should have. So FA is wrong. OK challenged the Administrators figures on the balance owed to him, but did not claim that the Administrator had also missed from his figures the outstanding central funding OK had been swindled out of by a 10 year old mathematician. One of OK or the Administrator is a liar. Make your own minds up, fellow bloggers.

I have always enjoyed your posts BB 2011, its good that you have returned, so I must apologise for hijacking your post.

Ah right so OK spotted that the RFL/Other Clubs had essentially done him and the Bulls over by giving our half of the central funding (the half forfeited for going into admin) to the other clubs instead of into grassroots RL, which gives the other clubs an even bigger advantage over us? Something we all noticed as soon as the vote result came out?

Thank you very much! Good to be back, I have missed it! Forgot my password for a while  and also decided a self exile in order to finish my Sport Development degree! The free time sure helped :READING:

I was only dreaming when I suggested Burgess/Crowe a few pages back!

So is Richardson CEO or something at the Rabbitohs? Does he have any cash?

This is all getting pretty intriguing.

Great news about the players and staff getting paid. Everything has been handled so much better this time.

May get some stick for saying this but I think one of the reasons it has gone so smooth so far and handled better is because the RFL haven't been sticking their nose in every two minutes. They are allowing the administrators to do their jobs and are just waiting to see what happens before delivering a punishment. So credit to the RFL for learning from previous admins  and staying out of it.

That could easily include stewards, bar staff and other match day extras though. If you do include those kind of people, it's not a high figure at all.

Although admittedly why they'd need paying in November when we haven't had a game day, I'm not sure. But just theorising.
