I see in the T & A that JK is saying that "It's a 50 per cent record we've got this season, not a 10 per cent one.", and that he's "been in worse holes than this as a head coach".
Well, okay Mr Kear, let's look a little deeper into your spin.
As of this morning, the "50%" played 8 and lost 4 stats don't show the total picture. Look at the points for and against. Within the top 10 teams, we are placed 9th. We have the 2nd worst points difference in the top 10. We have equal 3rd worst points "for", and 2nd worst points "against".
Kear then goes on to say ""I don't feel under pressure, I feel annoyed, angry, frustrated and disappointed"
That suggests to me that either his paymasters are comfortable with JK's playing style, results, etc. Or that he knows that the end is in sight for him.
As others have said, I think he has been good overall for Bradford, but the time really is right for him to move on. We have little chance of finishing in the top echelon of the division, crowds are reducing, even the hardnosed the fans are disillusioned. Players appear to be unfit, overweight, and show little passion or tactical management, while appearing to lack the motivation needed to smash a local rival.
What's left to look forward to for the rest of the season under the current regime ? Something simply HAS to change. I'm not generally a "sack the manager" speccy, but in this case it's the only way forward IMHO.
