Brook and Tahraoui both had blinders for Keighley today, Samir got MOM. I'd ask wtf they are doing playing for Keighley in the first place but I'm starting to sound like a broken record so what's the point.

Not playing Brook has really bothered me. We've had games this season against the lower sides that would have been perfect for him to get some game time and maybe even keep his place in the side. He must be a better option than Addy, who isn't a bad player, but just isn't a scrum half.

Fully agreed!! Brook is an obvious talent and with there been a shortage of half backs, being in the championship put is in a perfect position to see what he can do. Sick of coaches playing players at HB just because they are more experienced. No way would Brook have some any worse than what he did today on attack.

Sadly I think Brook will leave as I don't think Jimky is willing to give him a chance. A long with various others in the squad.

I honestly don't think Lowes and Harrison have what it takes to get us promoted. Not in terms of squad management or tactical ability. I know some people are pushing blame towards Ferres, but tbh he's done a decent job of putting together a large squad of good players. Yes it's light in terms of half backs, but given the scarcity of good halves that's hardly Ferres' fault

Agreed! That squad does not perform to its capabilities.

Unfortunately we have been here before - twice - once under McNamara and again under Cummins.

The initial impetus, confidence and pride in the shirt seems to have evaporated completely.

The stubbornness shown in yesterdays selection by having the second hooker as water carrier, then subbing off the better of the two wingers - its getting so frustrating

AOB got yet more hits on him yesterday - the tactic was obvious - hurt him then run at him breaking through the gap, it worked more than once.

On that performance, we will not win again this season.

I am no qualified coach but the decision making at the moment is baffling and my disappointment is turning to anger.

It was obvious to me at the time of his appointment that Marc Green just went with what he thought was the fans favourite when he gave Jimmy the job. Did Marc really have much of a clue about Jimmy's coaching record at this point in time? He was relatively new to the sport as a whole, so I'm inclined to think that he probably didn't.
Many people on here, including myself, remember what a disastrous time Jimmy had at Warrington. He had a squad full of superstars back then and he had them playing like headless chickens.

Overall I think the failure of this season boils down to two decisions - appointing Jimmy and letting Gareth O' Brien renege on his loan deal.
I think the second one of those was just unfortunate, and the club did the most sporting thing by letting him change his mind, but he was our seven for this season and that change of heart left us needing to find a scrum half with very little time left.

I doubt Green was the main decision maker when it came to the coaching appointment. I would assume that Ferres and RHP were much more involved in that decision making process. I'm away for the fans forum but I dearly hope somebody is brave enough to take Lowes sulky response on the chin and ask what his thinking is regarding the squad and how he has used it so far. It clearly isn't working right now and I just don't see where the necessary improvement will come from now. Oh and do the Bulls intend turning up on Sunday because I'd rather not curtail my holiday if they are looking beyond the Leigh game now.

I don't think the squad is light on half backs. We've got two scrum halves and two stand offs. That's more than we've had for a while. It's just two stand offs now look injured, one scrum half is injured and the other scrum half doesn't get picked.

It really does astound me that fans can be this fickle. The majority asked for players to be rested and when they are and you lose... You then say he should keep the strongest team out there. As soon as the 8's start everyone is on 0 points, the time leading into it is not when you should play your best rugby. The fans need to stay strong and reserve judgement until after the season ends. If half the buildings in the world had support as strong as you're showing then there would be a lot of flat cities.
