Average gain seems ok, error count and missed tackle ratio are both excellent. One immediate concern would be his offload game, not one single offload from him all season.
Clough is the definition of a solid pro. Will never let you down, is very consistent and will never shirk work. His attitude is perfect in short, but his limited abilities and size stop him being a top player. He won't ever win you the game with a miracle play (or even a good play), but he won't lose it either, and will generally "contribute".
Lower end of the 8 is about his level (I thought widnes was a very good fit for him) so should go well for you next year.
