The lowest professional division in rugby league is championship 1.

The players have been made redundant. Regardless of wether the club is in administration or liquidation, that makes no difference, they're still redundant and free to go wherever they choose.

I will post what I know from this meeting later on but the player departures are now like buses.

O'Brien gone to Hull FC, Kavanagh gone to Huddersfield with Mellor. Moss is joining Leeds. What hope is there for a team?

Part of the reason why I think it's mad to try and cobble a side together in 2 weeks.

Anyway, I guess we'll see.

If it is all sorted a new club needs an experienced football manager with plenty of contacts who can bring in some players.
