I really don't think comparisons with York are fair. The club has benefactors and the council have just built them a stadium. How are we supposed to compare with that? Our council doesn't have two pennies to rub together and any previous attempts to provide a better future for this club were thwarted by others looking out for their own interests.

Odsal has been nothing but a curse since the very day it was built. It might look unique but any substantial improvements to the ground are either impossible or incredibly expensive because of where and how it was built.

I take the point about York - maybe it's the attitude they have - possibly helped by all the good news they've had about the ground - but they're really positive. Whereas we might have a forum once a blue moon for season ticket holders only - that Nigel won't be at - and one of his flunkies will take the questions, and they'll have a go at anyone who's not lapping up everything they say (Perez).

Odsal has been a curse when you think about it. There have been so many pipe dreams about developing it. We should've moved to Avenue when we had the chance.

If I scoop a huge Euromillions jackpot I'll build us a decent ground with a nice statue of Trevor out at the front.

Baffles me why there has been little formal comms from the club regarding whats been going on and why all the info is coming from the stock car side of things. Even in the press release from Big Nige he says the aim is to get the club back to odsal. Well if that hasnt already been agreed and signed off on, why have the points mentioned above all been happening already?

Back when we could meet indoors fans forums seemed only to be open to season ticket holders. The way they're going they'll be able to hold them in Nigel's office before long.

Just seen Gledhills latest photo of Odsal and it doesn't look too bad. Or maybe todays sun had gone to my head!

Yes the pitch looks good. Startrax have put out some pics showing the barriers have been painted too which is nice. Wonder if the loos on the popular side have had any kind of renovation? Hope so as they were in dire need back in 2019. Then there's the Touchdown bar which can't be safe can it? Apparently the floodlights are on the the list of things to sort out so we might be able to see what's going on when it gets dark for the first time since 2015.

Not sure on the toilets.
Touchdown bar is getting renovated, currently has scaffolding up on the front.
The boxes on the popular side are all getting removed.
