I wasn't there so cannot give a first hand account but a friend tells me that Trueman impressed again as did Bentley and Kirk. The report suggests that it was a great team performance.
What particularly impresses me is that Catalans are 2nd in the U19's table- only Saints are above them. And Catalans have a superb youth structure, recently recognised in the RL assessment. So a good omen for the future.
I think Matt Diskin has said he believes around 8 of the current U19 squad could make the first team squad next year. I suspect that including young players developed in house is a key part of Rohan Smith' plans.
