They will be the best they can with the money they have. Saying they aren't up to the job with less than 3 weeks in charge is ridiculous, they've signed players, got loans, sorted sponsorships and are working on getting more players in. If that isn't good enough for you, there are other teams out there.

Bang on the.money is this.

We all knew it was going to be an incredibly difficult task to get the new club up and running at such short notice. Anything short of relegation will be an amazing achievement in the circumstances. People have very short memories - just a few weeks ago we thought we were not going to have a club to support - now people are panicking because we haven't got enough big forwards. I really hope that folk aren't going to chuck the towel in after a few early defeats but at least give the new owners a chance. As others have said if we're still without a couple more forwards by mid-season then we will inevitably continue to struggle but let's just get behind the players we do have and enjoy being able to look forward to a game a game at Odsal.
Sorry - I know its not like me to be optimistic but I'm trying! :D

My hope is that Lowe would come up trumps with some overseas players since home grown ones are signed up.

So far he's come up with a 7s player who's also played a bit of touch rugby.

I'm hoping he does better over the next few weeks.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

Well we're not in a position to be choosy I guess. As long as we go into it with our eyes open and the baggage he may bring. We need some aggression and experience in the pack and he'd offer that.

According to a chap on the Rochdale thread (reverready I think) we are signing two Kiwi forwards from French RU who have plenty of RL experience.

The only two names which spring to mind (okay I went through the squad lists of all the teams) who are Kiwi's playing in the top two leagues who also have RL experience is Maurie Fa'asavalu (fits the bill, 37 Years Old though) and Ryan Tongia (a back who played for Wakefield in 2011).

There were two others that played for Canterbury (2 games) and Melbourne Storm but both of these were centre/wingers.

So it begs the question. Who are these two Kiwi RU forwards? Also does anyone know what happened to getting a couple of Salford, Hull or Wigan lads on board?

Moore would be a decent short term signing to help the pack out. I'd have him on pay as you play. Provides that bit of experience which Lumb hasn't quite got yet. But again.....we need Props and Second Rowers.
