That's a different ball game but Nothus suggested they shouldn't go all out to win the game... As a fan I would be hugely disappointed to watch the team go out with that mentality. As I said i don't think this will be the case as the lads will be out for a spot in the team come the 8's.

Performance and good wins are priority and you hope you don't pick up injuries on the way but this is rugby and injury free is one thing you can't guarantee.

You misunderstood what I meant. I didn't want them to go in half hearted, I want our full squad to be utilised and the key players not risked!
Playing Gaskell against Leigh would just be asking for trouble, but you can be sure that Jimmy will still do it.

Umm, yeah, about that whole 'rotation' thing you mentioned. Jimmy doesn't appear to be a fan of it.

Problem is fax will target Gaskell too. So what do you do? Leave him out for both matches and have him starting middle eights not having played for 2 months?. If he'd been playing then resting him for those would have made more sense but we're in situation now where he needs to get match fitness.

The match next week against the Dirty Centurions is a massive game and is no way meaningless. It's a put down a marker game against the team who are more than likely our most serious challenger for promotion. We have one possibly two more games against them think of psychological advantage they would have going in to those games having beaten us twice and with one of those win's coming just weeks previous.

Its not going missed that suddenly the heat is being turned up and the mood is changing. One of the the Bulls most recent historic conclusions of a season is nearly upon the club and Fans. Its getting serious and frankly looking forward to every match from now on. I am sure the players and staff are not looking further than tomorrow but I am sure they will want to give themselves a huge confidence boost by playing well and delivering.

Exciting or what ... Next chapter in this clubs history is being written. JL is the helm and he has my full support as a fan. We actually have a collection of superb players ... ...COYB

That's true, if Gaskell plays against Leigh next week he'll have a huge bullseye on his chin and I'd not be surprised if the first tackle on him was a highshot

We all know what to expect from Leigh. I would rather see Gaskell sit it out and, indeed anyone else we are relying on to play in the matches that matter. No point risking the injuries. Surely our coaching team are fully aware of what to expect. Maybe fill the team with fringe players.

But what about if we get hammered? The mood around the club will be brilliant! Gaskell could just as easily get an injury training. We can't wrap player in cotton wool. If he's fit and the jaw has healed play him. If it's not then don't. Butninwoulsnt rest anyone else if they're fit. Anyway you try tell some of the senior player they're not playing in the Leigh game. They've marked this game since the first round of the year. Even in the Sheffield build up, they're talking about next week.

It's almost like we're scared of Leigh on here. We completely outplayed them in the 1st half at ther place. That was with a new squad, 6 sin binnings in an out of control game and two early injuries to Olbison and Addy. Let go out there and lay a marker down next week.
