Steveo's view of Friday's Game With fuel already costing so much how many fans are going to want to drive over the Pennines to watch a side who is not stepping up? You cannot keep on asking the fans to keep on digging deep in their pockets if you are not going to perform for them. I don't agree with much Steveo has to say, but on this one he's got a very big, uncomfortable point.

It is ok. FA (Feigning Alzheimers) has a habit of forgetting the bigger picture and instead picks out the one point that suits his argument.

I know the point that he is making, and, if it was on the back of a good win v Leeds and a run of decent form it would be very good odds indeed. However, it is not. It is two weeks after a win against an out of sorts Leeds side (who were thumped at home by Salford three days later) and it follows a defeat to Wakefield and a humiliation against a side who were, until last week, worse than we were.

12/1 would be good odds if the horses were of similar stature. However, not so much if the two horses included one impressive thoroughbred and one Blackpool donkey.

They'd be ACE odds if the horses were of similar stature - but that just wouldn't happen. . . . . which is, I suppose, the point of apply odds/probability to such outcomes.

Just taken a look on Betfair and odds are currently 16/1 for a Bulls win - Like FA I'm also an eternal optimist and it's payday so I can afford to lose a small wager - got to be worth a punt.
