I'm definitely done with the club if Green worms his way back in.

All that would happen is that we'd have calls for the fans to finance the club via buying ST and booze in the stadium, whilst he just hangs around waiting for a way to get his money back. A fourth Administration would only be a matter of time..

I agree with Mat - if a new owner can do a deal with him, he'd be happy to walk away. Hopefully he won't try to play hardball and settle for getting maybe half of his money back, cut his losses and beggar off into the sunset...

Surely the RFL will not let Green have a licence?

Whats that saying when you refuse to speak with people, think Admin people will nit be speaking with Green, whats it called ... oh yes ... sending someone to Coventry.

The RFL took away our membership from the championship realising that Green was going to try and be our owner again. He put us into admin to avoid being wound up and will try and take over again not paying the tax bill. If no other parties were interested the RFL would have to accept his bid to stop the club going extinct, but would quite rightly place us in league 1.

As it stands they seem to be 3 very serious bids (2 sound like they could have some deeper pockets than previous owners, from reading Ross's tweets) If the admin thought the best deal would be to go with Green, the RFL could reject him taking ownership of the club on "fit and proper persons test" and the administrator would have to go back to to the 2 other previous.

That's how i understand it all.

The RFL taking our membership has nothing to do with who may or may not buy the club. It's part of the operational rules in which a club that goes into administration loses its membership. It's not a new thing but it just seems to have been leaped on this time around as though it's some massive new punishment

The first time around, membership wasn't mentioned. It was all about the SL franchise place. Maybe that's where the confusion comes from.

Think it said that they were leaning towards those with RL experience and knowledge of that environment.

Not totally sure I agree with that.

A few years back when Lawn and his partner at City were on about coming in, there was some debate about whether they were really interested in the Bulls or were looking for what would benefit City. If I'm honest, I take that same attitude to Mr Roberts, if his main plan is to secure a cheaper option of a ground which suits Avenue, I'm certainly a little less keen.
