I guess they decided to use the 'former legend returns' as a bit of a marketing stunt. It doesn't really harm to point out the whole 'bootroom' thing that the T&A has got going today.

FWIW I thought Parker was a decent enough hard-working prop who was fortunate or unfortunate enough (depending on how you view it) to be playing for us when we had awesome props. Put him in today's team (at his peak) and he'd probably stand out!

However, when you consider that the guy was totally new to this role, when he hung up his boots, he's done spectacularly well. Good news, surprised we've got him given what I've read about him being there. I'm just delighted we're getting people where the first thing anyone has to say about them is about their professionalism and effectiveness. What's it been? Off field it's about twenty years.

Where does this leave Robbie? I'm not really sure what role he carries out anymore?

Heard a rumor that the Rhinos have offered to send a few of their promising juniors over for a season

Perhaps Roger Daly could clarify this further, i would love to see his lad here next season

Interesting that Stuart Fieldens twitter page has him as ex asst coach at Huddersfield. I don't remember anything about him leaving

I would have Fielden as assistant coach if it was possible. Our forwards would certainly learn how to charge in and tackle hard.

Hello,nothing has been said so far.I think the way recruiting is going for next season we won't be relying on loan signings like we have this season.

I too would like him to come on loan next season though,but can't see it.It would save me having to buy a season ticket
