Wasn't it Mick that also said the new coach should be announced on Monday? The Monday that just passed?

I genuinely don't know if Mick is just a little deluded, or if he is just naive and listens to people who don't actually have a clue, believing every word they tell him.

New coach isn't British and is waiting for a visa, hence delay in announcement - interesting choice

I kind of hope it isn't Matt Elliott, in spite of the fact that I have a lot of time for him and his psychological/philosophical musings that he makes available on the internet. The Brian Smith school of coaching has been limping along for a while and appears to be dying a particularly brutal death this year.

Fits the bill of John Cartwright then. If (and it's a big IF) it is him, then I'd be reasonably happy. As much as I think Morrison will be a great coach I think we need someone for the here and now. We need someone who is strong and experienced. Was assistant as North Queensland last year too.

yep thats where I saw it. Interesting if club are looking overseas whoever it turns out to be. To have gone through interview process and be waiting on a visa tends to suggest process has been going on since before Lowes officially resigned last week
